  LEARN HOW TO SUPPORT YOUR STAFF USING REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION

  REQUIREMENTS:
  This learning collaborative is designed for professionals who supervise infant/early childhood professionals that provide direct or indirect services, are ready to implement reflective supervision within their programs, and are ready to pursue endorsement upon completion of the experience. 

  While previous experience providing reflective supervision is not a requirement for participation, it is helpful to have some basic knowledge and understanding of the subject.

  In lieu of a master's degree, you may list training, experience and personal or professional insights that have led to your interest in participating in the learning collaborative. 

  SCIMHA is working to promote and expand the delivery of reflective supervision by endorsed professionals across the state. The education requirement is consistent with Endorsement standards for reflective supervisors. 

  Please note:  You must cancel your spot by noon on Thursday, October 3, prior to the start of class or cohort in order to be refunded.  All registration fees after the deadline are non-refundable.  No exceptions.  Also, if you do not complete the offering for any reason, we cannot issue any type of refund.

  The impact of Hurricane Helene is still unfolding, and we want to offer a supportive space to hold the burden of that impact together.

  If you are an Infant/Early Childhood Professional who supports infants, children and families impacted by Hurricane Helene, then this space is for you. You may also have been impacted directly. 

  This is a space for us to share our experiences, receive support, be in community, and for us to be held around this. This can be a space to share a story or lend an ear. This can be a space to just be.

  South Carolina Infant Mental Health Association's RS Study Group is a professional development opportunity open to all SCIMHA members, and is a best fit for current Supervisors interested in growing their Reflective Supervision capacity.
  

  SCIMHA's study group is an interactive experience that works best when all attendees actively participate. We will join together in a reflective space and will focus on how our work and life experiences relate to the information shared in the professional development offering. 

  This study group session will be facilitated by Megan Smith, MT-BC, LCAT, IMH-E®, SCIMHA's IECMH Training and Reflective Supervision Specialist. 

  Participating in Study Group:

  1. Please come prepared to view a short video at the beginning of our session, and reflect on and discuss in a large group.

  2. Turn your microphone and video camera on for the best interactive discussion experience. 

  Time spent in this event meets competencies and Training requirements associated with SCIMHA’s infant and early childhood mental health endorsement. It does not meet RS hour requirements. The endorsement is a credentialing process that supports and recognizes the professional development of those who work with or on behalf of infants, toddlers, young children, and their families and caregivers.
